URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nvditx5uqbA Video ID: Nvditx5uqbA ============================================================ [Music] [Applause] thank you for the introduction and good evening to everybody Buel Priyanka ja isal FR this is French folks in my era spent a lot of time in mastering the art of speaking a foreign language in my case French I remember carrying a French dictionary to almost all the places I visited I spent long hours in the library just so that I can get access to French magazines books access to radio and listen to music this was just so that I can hone the skills but guess what that's a thing of py because today language learning apps are powered by artificial intelligence that can give you access to language in no time that can make you bilingual in no time they can also create content for you that you can access 24x7 so hello my dear future Trail Blazers today I'm going to talk about youth Andi empowering the Next Generation I would like to double click on the word Next Generation and empowerment because I truly believe that today's generation is empowered with something unique called as technological innovation the way we played the way we danced and the way we worked has dramatically changed we have personal assistant apps like Siri it's there in everybody's phone which can answer our questions and even do personal tasks for us it's like having our mini own loyal reort just without that metal head and some weird sounds the social media algorithms know what we can buy or what we will buy even before we do so what is it that we can do the merits and AI the merits of AI is almost endless I so resonate to the power of AI in my personal and professional life even before I walk into the meeting I know who all the attendees will be there will be a trend chart that can help me understand the customers and the market space it can also write down the minutes of the meeting and send it in email for me even before I shut down my laptop now now as a woman I need to manage my personal life as well and AI is truly helping me there it is helping me to order groceries from a web app and sending text to my daughter she's sitting there so that she can finish her assignments and also remind my cook what needs to be cooked in the night while I'm driving back home sounds surreal but VOA this is all happening now the key point is when AI can almost do most of the things that a human can do the question is can can human in AI coexist the answer is simple and the answer is yes because remember AI will continue to rely on human intelligence to answer three C's and one that is create Clarity compassion and empathy needed to use AI so what should we really do we need to be really ethical in the usage of AI with AI is having a shlock homes of on steroids AI algorithms are constantly collecting and processing our data which is personal as well as financial data and there is bias in AI algorithms as well yes it's true AI can be biased as well this happens when algorithms are trained on biased data reflecting the Prejudice of the real world so instead of a fair and equal AI system we can we can get an AI version of a mean girl not cool AI so we need to address the concerns of ethical usage of AI and continue to think out of the box to democratize the benefits of of AI by wearing our thinking hats and innovative solutions to solve The World's long pending problems for example access to Quality education clean water to drink fresh air to breathe better supply chain to solve world hunger's problem and timely access to medical treatment therefore I would like to conclude that AI is both a friend and a potential for it but with the right ethical guidance in place and being more focused on being compassionate caring and creative intelligence rather than only hard intelligence we can ensure that AI will work for the betterment of the humankind with that I sign off thank [Applause] [Music] you
