Reviewer: Zahraa Abbass Hello, do you have the courage
to confront reality? to challenge reality? to challenge difficulties the big and
the small ones that pass through our lives Do you have the courage
to leave your mark on life? I am going to tell you about the
difficulties that passed through my life Briefly from my childhood
to my last project Let’s Begin In 20-5-1994 A child was born with
a rare physical disability that sets them apart from other children. I won’t go into medical terminology But, I can explain that the human
has Normal spine I was born with a Slanted spine, and As we all know If the spinal cord
is damaged through accidents It could cause Quadriplegia, thankfully
I only lose one leg I explained to you in a simplified way The consequences of this health condition will appear later after weeks or months Causes cerebrospinal fluid leakage
that cause brain death Conditions like this rarely survive Two weeks passed,
two months passed, years passed. This child remains alive but is disabled A child who is different from others even
in the simplest things, such as the ability to play,
So he preferred pen and paper The family’s insistence, love,
and commitment to Rami Rami’s family decided to encourage him
to do something different than drawing, Like studying, At five years old,
I was taught by homeschool teacher The teacher noted my excellence in
learning, so she suggests joining a school The school principal refused
to accept me into school, saying that home education
was better for him, His future is blank. He’s disabled unfortunately, Rami lost a school year
at five years old. My family’s determination, which began
during the first two hours of my life, My family decided to let me go to
school on their responsibility because the school principal fears getting
hurt in school. so my mother quit her job, to take
my responsibility in school. She went and stayed with me the entire
school day at elementary school. Gratefully, we had passed this challenge. we had passed Rami’s artistic talent and academic
success has won him the hearts of people During middle school The challenge was Rami loves to challenge his self
to transfer from a wheelchair to a cane. to face people because of bullying And others It is not an easy thing to transfer
after training and suffering Rami has passed this stage. I didn’t leave school The twelfth grade is now
the new challenge. Each student has challenges in this grade
to get the highest GPA to get into the field of medicine
or engineering To these challenges add,
Rami had a health setback Due to disability May come to your mind all these years,
Didn’t Rami undergo regular check-up? and because I’m afraid of discovering
something about my disability might make me less enthusiastic. since I
was a kid Passion for bringing something to the world, From my childhood
when I see my small studio Rami will eventually create something and show it to the world,
Unfortunately, I could hardly study this school year, Although
I excelled throughout my middle school years, Academic grades
95% and higher, Regretfully I was unable to prepare for the final exam I decided
to try the last thing to take the exam Even before I saw my score,
A dangerous stage has reached the point where medical intervention is necessary
Because I started to faint After surgeries I passed this challenge,
I nearly passed away. I pass this challenge Rami then asked about his final score
and which college would get him into? Rami’s ambition was different from
the colleges his grades allowed him to enter, such as engineering or
even the College of Science So I decided to go
College of Computer Science Programming was one of Rami’s hobbies
even before I started college. Everything went smoothly Throughout my college years, I didn’t
give up painting. as we can see on the screen
I continued to improve my skills and interaction with people in society.
I do live sketches in front of people in parks and give drawing classes,
even free classes to be known Rami began to face the challenge
of post-graduation There are two paths for every graduate He either gets a job or completes
his higher education. Sadly getting a job in my country is
not easy, so I didn’t get a job Ok, I want to complete graduate studies
I should study abroad, sadly, due to health issues at the time,
I was unable to Now what to do? I developed Rami Al Tamimi’s website
and page for artistic, technological, and design products. It includes my artwork and sketches. Now you can see some of my artwork I experimented with various sketching
approaches, including Da Vinci’s use of Optical illusions that moves in response to
the viewer’s eye. I became famous, you can see my shields,
certificates, and honors. I have no space left for it. I appeared
in important television interviews on channels such as the BBC. exhibits
of both internal and external art in nations like France and Turkey.
Huge projects such as Sinbad Magazine Greetings to Dr. Dhurgham I kept developing as an artist. You may be thinking,
What about professionally? professionally there are many projects if I talk
about that need more than one TEDX talk But we going to talk about the challenge
of integrating art and technology Four years ago, I asked myself why is it
like a man who has two jobs Morning work and afternoon work Why Rami is known as an artist by
the art society The technological society is familiar with Rami through projects the two fields? to create Interactive paintings Interactive painting via augmented reality Augmented reality is Projecting virtual objects onto reality
(the real environment) You will experience difficulties Challenges and difficulties How can I explain this concept to
a non-specialist? The majority of us are unfamiliar with what augmented reality is.
They are unable to understand a typical painting. How can I explain this technology Because my goal is to
reach non-specialists The other issue is that access to
technology can be challenging. A laptop, a camera, and other specialized equipment The person visiting the gallery
shouldn’t get bored. Because of the presentation’s intricacy I need something easy Now, usability challenges As we know Augmented reality requires
the download of apps, If I develop an application and
ask visitors to download it Assume that I assist 500 people
with downloading the application. The visitor finds the process boring
and difficult. This issue is fixed. Here is an actual example This painting is about envy I’ll analyze it, It’s an old, broken wall that represent your health.
You are a person who cares about your health, successes,
and personal growth Someone simply comes to envy you. to break you and make you blow up,
represented by colors Every hue has a particular meaning;
yellow, represents envy If you are not an artist or have
an understanding of art You’ll say “I wish you could draw
an eye to make it easier for me.” At least to understand
that it symbolizes envy, The idea remains incomplete until
augmented reality completes it. Issue with access was resolved Using your phone scan the barcode. This is the barcode Open Scan the barcode It will be opened No pardon Turn on the internet Scan the barcode it will take you to the project link. Wait a few seconds It will take you to the Instagram app. Instagram provides
an environment where using a specific augmented reality
application is not necessary. Whether Instagram or Facebook
To upload your projects Look, the painting has become alive. Now the idea is completed The wall that represents the effort
you put in on yourself breaks down because of infected
with envy The eyes symbolize The envious eyes.
Programming, designing and animation, I made it I developed this project in an environment
in which I can upload augmented reality, Facebook and Instagram camera Maybe you ask me Is it possible? Can we exploit this entertainment
aspect in other aspects? such as education and medicine Why not? Same process Scan the barcode I was intentionally making this thing
a very small My ID card This computer RAM is known to specialists Part of the computer If you click on it, it will appear
RAM DD4 details We develop education through it
Possible with the simplest things, for example, a teacher with cards explain
parts of computer Without needing actual parts Can you explain it in a way that
easy for students to understand. Modeling and programming by me And the same process for
the rest of the fields of course You will see all of this during the break,
of course. You can do it on your own. On your mobile phone if the internet
is not available I will give you. There are many paintings that
you can interact with Of course, this painting is one of twenty
paintings an exhibition will Opening soon Now some questions come to us. Unexperienced user Can we use this technology in any field?
I answer We can easily hire anything. Alright, is this technology
accessible to all or only to you? It’s monopolized, no, it’s not,
and I’m ready to teach others about it. Ready to develop it On the contrary, I wish I could be from
the CCI cultural creative industries Invest this project in community service
Not only entertainment but other things, Not just mine I am ready for a company with employees
who produce simpler things or artist and you do not have Technological ability
I can develop it for you Development of your own idea You can use it in a way that suits you. Of course, whether in art or otherwise. This is the end, if you’ll excuse me. I finish while standing. First of all, I thank my family who stuck
by me from the first two hours of my birth until now secondly Be brave enough to face difficulties. Rami show you some difficulties
he went through may have been simple I am ready to face more and more
difficulties and achievements, don’t look Don’t assume that the disabled is helpless how many disabled have achieved
what you were unable to achieve, Thankyou
