[Music] ladies and gentlemen distinguished guests and my dear fellow champions of Change close your eyes for a moment and imagine a world Fe of trash cans stand empty landfills are mere relics of the past and the Very idea of fa is but a distant Echo Envision fsle fleets of upcycled bicycles adored with vibrant flowers replacing the monotonous h of garbage trucks picture face spins serenading passes by with melodic Tunes inviting them into a joyous game of upcycling turning discarded items into some something beautiful good morning I'm Paris Mandel a student of f Canan school about a year ago I stumbled upon a revelation that shook me to my core our pet institution was unknowingly generating a staggering waste of 79 Kg on a daily basis it was a sobering moment that propelled me into action giving birth to what we now proudly call the Sho new waste project this wasn't just a dream it was an audacious Pursuit fueled by Passion and sustained by unwavering pance together with the support of our school management and dedicated science teachers we transformed the stream into one of the most fervently pursued projects our school has ever adopted the goal to minimize our ecological Footprints and cultivate a culture of responsible consumption and waste management with a laser focus on the whole Trinity of environmental Consciousness Reduce Reuse and recycle our journey from 79 kg of daily waste to the shuna waste initiative has been nothing short of Monumental we have taken a proactive stance not merely as students but as eco-conscious Leaders shaping the future through educational workshops awareness campaigns and interactive activities we have engaged teachers students and support staff alike sensitizing them to the urgency of the issue to address the very source of our environmental impact trash cans and E-Waste boxes are strategically placed all around the campus every piece of paper and electronic device is meticulously segregated and recycled creating a closed loop of sustainability within our very grounds no stone was left unturned in our quest for a sustainable future dust bins were banished from classrooms to ensure respons ible waste disposal yet despite our efforts challenges persisted in response we innovated with Eco chalant and Eco Awards imagine a sheet outside every classroom scrutinized daily by our diligent Eco volunteers a red e Chalan or a green Eco award is bestto based on the waste generated by that class a single red Mark in a week and that class loses its Sports period for the following week it's not just a system it's a catalyst for change instilling sustainable habits that transcend a school environment but our efforts extend beyond the confines of our classrooms We have replaced paper glasses with reusable ones for a staff and visitors reducing unnecessary waste we have also established a routine for collecting properly cut plastic wrappers sent for recycling to an NGO dedicated to the cause Faith Champion face ruction strategies encouraging the use of reusable water bottles lunch containers and eco-friendly stationary as we stand here today proud contributors to nurturing environmentally responsible citizens and fostering a culture of sustainability we extend an invitation to all of you to join hands and collectively turn the tide if we as students can spearhead this transformative Journey so can you together let's make our country not just a place to live but a better place to thrive thank you and have a wonderful day ahead
